- Yep -- on one hand, it is kind of moot putting together a final this long afterward, but on the other hand, we had it in a nearly-working state ... and I felt a need to scratch the coding itch during Revision 2018.

- @MichaelB: The soundtrack was made using whatever tools the musician wanted to use, and delivered to us as a WAV file. We then compressed it using an ADPCM-like compressor. The compressed version of the soundtrack is what the demo uses. The MP3 soundtrack download link above is the best we can offer you.

- Awesome demo. I like the atmosphere. Visuals and music complement each other very well.
Contrary to some others around here, I think the tune is great just the way it is! Would like to be able to stuff it into my Spotify playlists :) - rulezadded on the 2011-07-29 00:10:53

- moredhel: The 3D engine which Evil and Gizmo have written has nothing to do with the one which I and Rubberduck have written.
If you would look at the code using a debugger/disassembler, you would see that there is no similarity whatsoever between the two implementations.
They're (mainly) written in different languages, they have different scope, different featuresets, the datastructures are totally different etc.
This demo is good, and totally done by them. - isokadded on the 2007-06-06 11:47:33

- The executable version which has been on the net (until now) was the placeholder version, which we submitted 15 hours before the democompo just so that we would get registered into the competition itself. The "download" link should shortly be updated to point to the executable of the demo that was actually shown at the competition. (Alkaron was the first person to ever test-run it on a real 1200.)
In case you wonder, my 1260 board broke during the flight to Helsinki (one chip came loose!) and after calling around a bit without being able to source another 060 board, we decided to solely rely on WinUAE for the party version.
We will release a proper 060 version in about 2 months (work has priority right now). Till then, enjoy the party version of the demo! - isokadded on the 2006-08-08 01:33:13

Next time you will get code. - isokadded on the 2005-04-14 01:39:28
