• Some impressive modeling and texturing intially, huge props for this as its very rare to see groups actually making their own art nowadays! Seemed like the quality and fidelity dropped quickly though, after that first scene things looked a bit rushed. Lighting especially was pretty poor throughout. And I agree with Nytrik, its a very static and overall boring 3d flyby in the end.

• First FLT demo in a long time I didnt really care for. The intro part was gorgeous but it went downhill pretty fast after that. Technically impressive, best in class, obviously, but this demo needed a proper artist. A mix of downloaded assets, iffy animations and odd design choices made it lose its luster quickly for me. And 1gb? What for? Didn't optimize the art assets properly or something? A very weak thumbs up just because it's still better than most stuff out there.

• My compo favorite by far! Mindblowingly impressive all around. Slightly too long and repetitive for my own personal taste, but thats just me.

  Appreciate the feedback. I actually wanted to split the demo into two parts, one more solemn because of his death and one a little more upbeat themed to his music. I tried to match some of the atmosphere from their videos, since its an homage. Mygg had already done the tune though before I started and since we loved it, wouldnt want to change it afterwards to match my visuals, so yeah, a little disconnect for sure.
