Better success on a 1060 though I'm not sure why this wasn't able to go over 20-25fps on medium quality - didn't seem like there was anything that warranted a huge GPU, though I did spot what may have been some some sweet volumetric smoke in one shot.
Otherwise I'm a bit torn, the brutalism is obviously big thumbs up but I'm not sure it pairs well with the clubby soundtrack, and it ends in the middle of a breakdown just as I was getting into it :( Bit disappointing cos some of the cinematography + lighting was (again, after Umbra) spot on.
It's like two disparate demos mashed into one.

Your version of the radially-repeated-ring effect is really pretty. And breaking the monochrome scheme at the end with bright orange is genius. Also brutalism.

the 3D and bad texturing were a bit meh (even for brutalism standards) but otherwise it was visually enjoyable. but i just don't like Faithless, so in overall piggy :P

Appreciate the feedback. I actually wanted to split the demo into two parts, one more solemn because of his death and one a little more upbeat themed to his music. I tried to match some of the atmosphere from their videos, since its an homage. Mygg had already done the tune though before I started and since we loved it, wouldnt want to change it afterwards to match my visuals, so yeah, a little disconnect for sure.
nice hommage, music is kinda cheesy though (but then again the original also was a bit)
