- Great effects and great design. However, this trend for glitchy post processing is very dated and getting way too cliched now.
It would be nice to be able just enjoy the demo effects without having them break up and glitch in time to the beat.
Nonetheless, a good demo and cool soundtrack.

- demo Linux Windows Luna : Reactivation by vovoid [web]
- A good demo. Quite intriguing and I liked the soundtrack.
My only criticisms are that the colour scheme was too bland and the scenes were too dark. It could've been more, but still a nice demo. - rulezadded on the 2011-08-07 14:20:05

- Awesome visuals and direction.
The music itself I think is quite good, but the vocals were shockingly bad. It reminded me of Jan Terri and I couldn't stop laughing.
I used to love amusic's epic demo soundtracks, but this recent obsession with vocals is making his work sound amateur. Sorry to join the critics, but it's meant to be constructive. - rulezadded on the 2011-08-06 23:36:25

- I don't want to accuse anyone of ripping in case I'm wrong, but I'm sure I've seen same this animation elsewhere.

- Great logos, bad anti-aliasing. Horrible photo cutouts, horrible colour scheme and truly horrible soundtrack.
If the logos had appeared on a plain black screen with no music, it would've been a much better demo. - sucksadded on the 2011-08-04 23:22:44

curiously enough only having checked this demo twice i was left with the vocals repeating in my head :)
Rebecca Black's "Friday" had the same effect on me! :) - isokadded on the 2011-07-28 12:39:36

- On a side note, does anyone know if Rebecca Black has an album in production?

- Don't worry, a lot of people criticised Rebecca Black for her low production values and a few minor flaws, but she's obviously a very talented singer and song writer. Maybe it's best for her to let "Friday" go and really prove herself with the next song.
Same goes for this. The demo and track has been released now, but I'm sure the next song will be a killer. - isokadded on the 2011-07-27 00:37:28

- I agree with ps that there's something about the imperfections in a singer's voice that makes it more human and relatable. As I implied with my previous comment, it reminded me of some kind of small-scale performance, like something from a highschool. But just as demoscene evolved from teenage bedrooms, there is definitely an appeal about something so humble.
I don't know why I feel compelled to defend the soundtrack, but there was something about ps' comment that resonated with me (a first I guess:) as we seem to lose sight of the demoscene's humble origins.
For me, the big criticism is that classical music rarely works with modern style visuals and would've been better suited to something more in context. - isokadded on the 2011-07-25 23:39:03

- I'd forgotten about that one Puryx. There's another one that I'm thinking of though that had more of a brown colour throughout and was more of a routine after routine demo if I remember correctly.
