- delivers in all departments, again. somehow the shot at about 2/3 time got me where the cam stares right at the cube/sphere thing and just shakes a bit: that was a nice break from the usual fast flybys and somehow more intense. what fizzer said about not noticing any tech is a very good thing in my book. In a demo, tech should support the content, not be the content.
I was about to congratulate the music especially, but since you didn't make it, uh, please pass on my compliments ;) well I guess you have to approach some musicians then... there are so many in the scene sitting on half-unfinished tracks and most would be happy to be part of a cocoon demo I guess. maybe going as far as doing rough visuals first and then composing the soundtrack might bring it to an entirely new level. - rulezadded on the 2016-11-15 10:32:07

- I don't like the visuals as much as some others here, since it's mostly "only" high-quality/shiny versions of things we've seen before. The direction together with the music made it for me, but if that rendering and postprocessing would be applied to some more interesting geometry... now that would be something.

- Visuals really takes it to the next level. I like how taking something that was already designed to be intense and then making it even more so actually works here. Though somehow it feels like the soundtrack (which is amazing on its own) stays a little behind in places and doesn't have the earworm quality of Rude Awakening for me. And maybe for those really close flybys in the beginning something like materials or textures would be nice ;)
