- gloom - I don't do it often (ok, twice tonight...) but it's nice to try and spot where some inspiration came from. Even if it was unintended. It's not an accusation of theft or copying or anything like that, just an appreciation that there may be a nod to another demo here and that other demo might also be worth seeing.
But since you moaned about it I'll avoid doing it again. - isokadded on the 2009-04-15 02:38:59

ATI doesn't like your noise.

- This was nothing special. It also didn't suck. Therefore, what maali said.

- jazz - "i suggest to break up and form something new creative."
I suggest you look through some farbrausch demos and see that their most creative work is often the most under appreciated by the mainstream who just stop by to check out the top of the month. Anyone who "expects" a blockbuster every time has only seen a small portion of their work, the majority of which is somewhat experimental, and isn't really in a position to make negative comments. - isokadded on the 2009-04-15 02:00:00

- The only scene I really liked was the music box, and I think that was really the centrepiece of the whole demo. I don't think it's enough for a thumb. The small size is appreciated but FR have done better smaller.

- I'm guessing the technique used to do the fisheye prevents it from running full screen. Of course it could be a stylistic choice intended to elicit a sense of claustrophobia, or of wearing a diving helmet. Either way it didn't do it for me.
I liked the text with VHS shader and I thought the scenes were interesting enough, but the combination of outline rendering and textures don't work for me. - isokadded on the 2009-04-15 01:38:44

- Lovely particles yet again. The trees with gold were really great.
That said, I think I had some bugs with the meshes. Here's a shot and a log. - rulezadded on the 2009-04-15 01:17:08

- Looks like the physics runs on the GPU, so kudos for that. It's strange that in Into The Pink I didn't notice that the "gorgeous" HDR cubemaps were shot in someone's back yard but here they're presented with all the subtlety of a broken bottle of WKD Blue to the face. What I'm saying is the art sucked.
