- demo Windows coma (on the dancefloor) by Cocoon [web]
- Pro: Extremely pretty, and I like the music somehow. Con: ATI only, Radeon9500+ only, buggy shadows, slow code. A final of this thing (preferrably running on GF3-class hardware if possible and 5-6MB smaller) would rock. :-)

- Not nearly as good as the previous one, but still quite good. (BTW, you'll really have to do something about that sample generator soon. :-) )

- 64k Windows A Place Called Universe by Conspiracy [web]
- Definitely a big step up from Project Genesis -- lovely to watch, and well put together. The only complaint I have is the music -- it's a bit dull, and the synthesizer/samplegenerator/whateverthey'reusing is not of the same quality as the rest of the intro. The poetry didn't strike me the way H7 did either, but that's a minor detail -- this is definitely a very solid prod. :-)

- demo Windows A Significant Deformation Near The Cranium by Kewlers [web]
- Not quite my cup of tea, but well done.
BTW, it ran nice and smooth on Radeon8500 without setting "Shitty Radeon". AFAIK ATI has accelerated glCopyTexSubImage2D() (as well as WGL_ARB_render_texture) for a long time now :-) - rulezadded on the 2003-12-17 15:17:18

- 64k Windows Zoom 3 by AND [web]
- The robot rocks, the marching cubes effect rocks, the lighting rocks. (It also seems quite fluid on a GF3, contrary to what others have said, but I might just be less picky about the framerate. :-) )
The music, however, sucks, and so does taking credit for speech/texgen when it's not yours at all. :-) Besides, it's more or less the same over and over again. - isokadded on the 2003-08-18 14:27:25

- It crashes if SDL.dll is not in an accessible path (fsg limitation :-) ) or if your OpenGL drivers are very very bad. (Mac port will be quite hard, I'd believe, as most of this is pure asm :-P)

- People have complained about the sound on the Windows port, but AFAIK it should be identical (it's the exact same .asm file spitting out 44100hz 16-bit stereo samples), and the one person I know who has access to both Linux and Windows machines right now have confirmed they sound the same :-) Perhaps something about the sound on the demoshow/realmedia stream or something :-)
