- very nice.
the problem with 4k's is that you can never be satisfied. i wish a resolution requester with anti aliasing option, and clamping for the blur.
but it's 4k, so there is nothing you can do about it and a 6k version would just spoil the idea of 4k's.

- it seems unfair to critizise fairlight for thier lack of coherency, and then praise ASD for this demo. same goes for the accuse of "reuse".
but there are so many wonderfull parts in it and the transitions are never abrupt, so in the end its a perfect demo.
(and it's technically very clean, almost everything is smooth and well done)

- demo Windows Media Error by Fairlight [web] & Carillon & Cyberiad [web] & orange
- very disappointing, considering the proud announcements how unbeatable fairlight felt.
maybe the graphics are worth the large size and long depacking phase, but why put that ugly RGB distortion on top of everything? image post processing is the key to making things look great, but in this case it made things look crappy.
the fisheye would have been innovative a year ago, but here it further reduces image quality to a blurry mess.
if you have a couple robots running around, you could at least make sure they don't run through each other.
and then there is the "brilliant" moment where the audience gets completly lost... - isokadded on the 2007-08-05 17:34:17

- the next thing will be pay per view demos. of course, none of the money goes to the creators in the creators club.

- OK, here is the full story. I wanted to know if you write the German word "Daumen" in English as "thumb" or "thump". I just can't remember, I am that bad in orthography, especially English. So i checked at wikipedia, and of course it's a 'b', but when i saw the image of the thumb, i knew i have to add that on pouet. but to what production? I only need one more comment to get my first CDC, so i really had to add one positive comment to some production. which one?
let's check the top ten. first one: ours. second one: heaven seven. There is no discussion that this intro deserves a thumb up, and that everyone who would ever thumb this down does not deserve a pouet account. - isokadded on the 2007-05-15 23:10:26

- Every day I check if .debris finally is on second place of the pouet top 10, but rarely I log in into pouet. I just checked. I never thumbed this.
I don't think this is the best intro ever (hah!), but surely this is worth a thumb up. A big one.
