- 4k Windows elevated by Rgba [web] & TBC
- This definitely set the bar. Perhaps so high that it's going to take a long while until anyone can even equal, or not to mention surpass Elevated. Technically astounding, visually both realistic and soothing at the same time. Even the soundtrack that felt first bit too cheerful, has grown on me during the time - perhaps Jarresque chord progression has something to do with it...

- 4k Windows StripText by Pantuflas Software
- trace, seconded. the random camera movement gets soon annoying as well. piggie for the effect.

- 4k Windows Extrasolar by Software Failure [web]
- only one effect, but well executed for a 4k. digged the soundtrack, as well.

- demo invitation Windows Everything is Under Control - The Breakpoint 2009 Invitation by mfx [web]
- I was hesitant to comment this invitation earlier. First it felt like a big mistake what comes to the theme and overall vibes. Party invitations should be happy-happy joy-joy, right?
However during Breakpoint this thing did grow on me. The soundtrack (also in jingle form, played repeatedly during the Easter weekend) kicks in major time, and the theme doesn't feel all that dark anymore after the full party experience. - rulezadded on the 2009-04-18 09:43:27
- demo Windows Rupture by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Kicked major ass! I really like the Tron vs. Miami Vice style cross-over (now, only if the soundtrack had some Jan Hammer'ish drums ;), and the execution is nearly flawless. Congrats for the well deserved 1st place!

- demo Windows Cognoscere by mfx [web]
- Both beautiful and haunting at the same time. Being too long? I don't think this demo would've affected on such a level it reaches now if it was shortened at all.

898kb? Damn, it seems like Ryg forgot to kkrunch the executable. :)
Anyhow, like few of you already guessed - this was supposed to be originally a 64k intro. However somewhere in March we finally realized this was not going to happen. Continued as a demo project since then, but everything being still created with Werkkzeug3 and v2.
We ran slightly out of time, but well - no further excuses. There you have it. - isokadded on the 2009-04-14 12:04:06

- demo Windows Ballad of a Cluster Bomb by Kooma
- brilliant rendering/canvas effects! even if lacking on the content side, this was my favourite from the compo. and the soundtrack alone is worth a double-thumb!
