- demo MS-Dos/gus Oedema animae cogunt by Rustbloom
- I definitely like this demo. Besides the scroll, there are several interesting effects here. It also features quality graphics and quite a memorable soundtrack. Special respect to the author for the choice of platform. This demo really added variety to the competition this year, almost completing the generational coverage of PCs.

- demo MS-Dos MS-Dos/gus Demoded by 7dUMP & SandS [web]
- Thanks to everyone for the feedback! We really tried to make a good demo.
As for the source code: I’ll definitely publish it. But first, I’d like to make the final version, fix a few things, and maybe improve the optimization in some places.
And one more recommendation: if you’re running the demo on a 486 PC with a Sound Blaster, please select a mixing rate of 22050 Hz (in the startup menu). By default it’s set to 44100, but for a 486 that’s still a bit too heavy. This affects the smoothness of the visual effects. - isokadded on the 2025-08-05 19:05:43
