- musicdisk NES/Famicom Turquoise Palace by MorphCat [web]
- Nice effects and bits of songs in there. Personally, I think some of the songs would be better if they changed less, and kept more of a consistent identity.

- demo Windows Seiryoku by Inque [web]
- I liked the interconnecting flipping flaps, and the movement of the rings around the vertical pipe (hope you know what I mean). I've gotten tired of that sort of machine environment in demos, but I see potential in that sort of thing.

- demo Windows Inflorescence by mfx [web]
- I like the spacey, exploring the monolith concept, and the intro with the blue contrast was cool. Somehow it didn't really hold together for me though. I think it's that I'm not moved by that kind of breaky electronic audio unless there's more common thread in it, and the visuals went along with it.

- demo Windows Only one wish by Fairlight [web] & The Black Lotus [web]
- Like a lot of people apparently, I liked the pipes (particularly the welding -- the organic-looking parts of constructed objects are often neglected, so it was refreshing). I was also sort of relieved when the graffiti wall came up, since it got a bit cleaner. Much of the demo had parts that were kind of random and I didn't care for much.. Like people in gasmasks falling apart into triangles... not sure where these cliches came from. This was the most cliched compo I've seen in a long time.

- demo Windows Nazca by Cocoon [web]
- This is by far my favorite of the compo. It got me into it with some things that the others were lacking for me -- Some chosen theme, dared to have some clear meaning, some flashes of style that worked, and the end part got me into the rhythm. Actually, the end part is what did it. The build up worked for me and it took me by surprise.
Also, like proteque, this is the first cocoon demo that I recall liking. - rulezadded on the 2008-07-03 17:41:30
- demo Windows The Seeker by Still [web]
- Not too cheesy? It was incredibly cheesy :). I got the same feeling as break. The first note of the audio made me go "uh oh", and the cliche tune continued for the whole demo.
It was put together well though. I liked the spinny cylindrical rectangle things that spun around the ribbons for a bit. - isokadded on the 2008-07-03 17:18:20

- respect for the effects.. people can mine this for some inspiration. I didn't get a lot out of it though.

- demo Linux Windows Vintage II by Outbreak [web]
- The logo was awesome. The lighting was lacking in a lot of it, particularly at the beginning. Had better potential there. I liked the credits too.. :)

- demo MS-Dos/gus Pureness by Waterlogic
- I still remember the tune well after all this time. Considering this came out in 1995, I liked the fact that it had zero attitude compared to the others, and was simply nice.
