- steam: Poti made me a member of 5711 when we met at Breakpoint 2005. I released this under 5711 since the organizers of 0a000h 20008 accepted only releases from members of groups physically present at the party.

- 4k MS-Dos Vypni Sa!
- Starting it under DOSbox 0.72 leads to the error "mmx not found". Seems like the current version of DOSbox doesn't emulate the MMX instruction set yet... :(

- How do you make videos of DOS demos that don't run under Windows? Kkapture won't work.

- Optimus: Yes, but doesn't the 2 GB limit also concern hard disk partitions?

- Wow! You are running DOS on an Athlon 600?
I guess the primary reason why DOS is not a suitable operating system for modern PCs is that DOS can address only 2 GB of memory. - isokadded on the 2008-12-08 18:38:34

- On the other two PCs it is running extremely slowly, and the music is not working.

- A DOS demo with an OGG soundtrack? Cool!
But on this PC, using DOSbox 0.72, it plays for a short while, then I get:

- Nice. Klappquadrat and Triplet 64 by the same coder were visually more appealing, though.

- demo Windows SteamPFunk by SquoQuo [web]
- It runs fine on my older computer on which I installed the latest DirectX 9 SDK from November 2008.
Not a bad demo. It is all about a moving sticky ball which takes any object it bumps into along with it. Some scenes look unrealistic (e.g. when the houses sink - they sink below the ground instead of cracking apart), but maybe that was intended. The music first reminded me of Candytron, but when I watched Candytron again, it turned out that it's quite different. - isokadded on the 2008-12-07 20:42:35
