- demo Windows TheFa by Power Rangers
- The track is ripped. It's 'Adagio for Strings' by William Orbit, remixed by Ferry Corsten. And that is not exactly techno, rather than trance. And I am telling you all that because it happens to be one of trance tracks I like the most.
So, this is the first case of using a ripped track that annoys me. They shouldn't have imho.
As for the demo, it is infact nice, but not exactly mindblowing. The design tries to look like the video clip, only the video clip is better :-) - isokadded on the 2002-01-01 22:55:52
- demo Windows Kozmik's Sweet Ass by Unique [web]
- no, it's not abstract... it's subliminal... :-)
jobe, you filthy pervert! :-P - isokadded on the 2001-12-29 23:03:08
- demo Windows elements by Haujobb
- jpeg compression ruins an otherwise wonderful production. I mean, there is so much nice graphics in this demo and they look just horrible. The textures suffer one of the same as well. The spider-thingy shaddow in the spotlight would look so real damn it... As phoenix said, use PNG! It's lossless, it's free and it's better.
As for the vocals, male vocals need a few touches here and there, female vocals are splendid.
Really liked the design in this one. Please, fix the jpeg problem in the final version! - isokadded on the 2001-12-29 22:57:02
- demo Windows nodelab by Retro A.C. [web]
- I kinda liked the painfully slow beat of the music. The low-res video is also a nice touch, and it is well implemented too. The rest of the demo is nice.
Don't run it at anything over 640x480 cause the bitmaps are streched hideously. - isokadded on the 2001-12-29 22:45:17
- demo Windows Kozmik's Sweet Ass by Unique [web]
- Well, it's actually very nice! And rather small too. Cute colors and music.
And thank lord that his ass does not appear anywhere. I mean, if it's as sweet as his demos, I dare not think any further... :-P - rulezadded on the 2001-12-29 18:27:17
- demo Linux Windows Conspiracy by Excess [web]
- The music is indeed very good. I also liked the text throughout the demo. Effects were nothing groundbraking, although I really liked the 'eye'.

- demo Windows medium by Einklang.net [web]
- Works just fine for my taste. Techno is not bad. First time I heard the tune so I don't mind if it's ripped.
Only complaint is that it's rather long. - rulezadded on the 2001-12-29 17:55:01
- demo Flash Delirium by Scoopex [web]
- First of all, I believe that flash animations *can* be considered demos. Why, is a question I would gladly discuss in the bbs.
This is not good. The music is nothing spectacular. It's not coherent and it's very slow. I have seen flash show more, faster. The size is very big. I understand the music takes most of the space, but again, I've seen better. Finally, there are spelling errors in the text that appears.
If scoopex like flash, they should know that they can do alot better. - sucksadded on the 2001-12-29 17:17:21
- demo Windows Rush Hour by Nextempire
- No crashes here. It just stops after the red headed guy running scene. Is there anything else after that?
If you let your imagination fly to 'undiscovered areas', you may see that some ideas in this demo are in fact interesting. However, they are performed so poorly making the result almost disgusting to see. The music is extremely monotonous and repetitive.
On the other hand, I must admit that I have seen worst productions from NextEmpire. - sucksadded on the 2001-12-29 17:02:45
- 64k Windows squarelight by bypass [web]
- I liked it too. It sucks nevertheless.
