• yes I've seen it and I highly appreciate his effort to keep SoundMon alive on todays hardware!
  
  I have to admit that I'm taking the easy way out by just relying on emulators (ua(d)e, deliplayer..) ;)
  
  Syntracker2 actually has nothing to do with the "old" Syntracker but I somehow liked the name and the fact that it was my first tracker.. but hey, you may even have convinced me to do a "syntracker 1.7" softsynth for it in the future :-) some things might be hard to "emulate", for example the really strange note-slide command that searched the pattern for the next note..d'oh!

• If you all want to have a good laugh take a look at
  the replayer source ..sry but I was 14 years old when I coded this :-)
  
  user: st2 will be for Windows, Linux and maybe other platforms if ppl help me port it. V1 will be a pure MIDI tracker but VST/sampling support is planned for V2. The tracker is progressing very well but it's not ready for prime time, yet.
  
  p.s.: One thing I still like today is the sound of the instruments in the "tip tap tribe" demo song (especially the instrument that kicks in at ~0:31)
  
  p.p.s: You can replay the songs with Deliplayer for Win32

  nice combination of "newschool" 3d flyby ;) and oldschool 1 frame effects..
  
  Regarding the 320k discussion: I may not know much about the XL/XE but I got the impression that the memory expansion is kind of standard similar to the 512k fakefast expansion on the Amiga500 !?
