- it would be interesting to see something with that filter you use to make the screenshot. Other than that, not much to say.

- diskmag Windows Hugi #35 - Disruption in Chaos Theory by Hugi [web]
- thats quite extraordinary.. in 2 days this prod is already in top #3 of most thumbed down prods ever. #2 being chimera (unreasonably) and #1 winnerdemo.
But hey, at least there is no more "charts" and shit... - isokadded on the 2008-11-05 21:31:12

If you honestly didn't know about this, magic, then I feel for you cause I know that you put alot of work into that magazine. Which magazine, unfortunately, is going to be thumbed down for stuff like this (and deservingly so).
Who is editor in chief in Hugi. Still Adok ? Damn Adok, what where you thinking man

- ok so I was reading this, starting with the demo-related stuff as usual...
Nice design, some informative articles (check that massive nvision review) and lots of photos from parties I missed. And then
What is wrong with you guys.. just WHAT is this article doing in there. You know which one. Is hugi now turning into a "white supremacy" propaganda medium for good? I though after all this *SHITE* about IQ, Mensa and eugenics you would have learned that such pile of wank just doesn't cut it around here.
I'm sorry for those who contributed the rest of the articles (I didn't read further than that) that do have some merit/value.

- demo Commodore 64 Edge of Disgrace by Booze Design
- seriously deranged. Had I seen it back in 1985 my head would explode into millions of pieces.
It is 2008 now and this thing is still amazing. - rulezadded on the 2008-10-29 19:22:12
- demo Windows passing by Still [web]
- heh, interesting.. my opinion on this demo went like:
like, not that bothered, REALLY LIKE (when I saw the scene with the rotating blue/red lights). Maybe a bit too long and derived from debris, but nevertheless a good demo. - rulezadded on the 2008-09-30 21:47:37
- demo Windows Midnight Run by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- niels_tpb:
Midnight run, just like metamorphosis, is hardcoded indeed. What that means is:
First of all the cameras are based on implicit functions (combination of linear movement and sin/cos). The evolving strips are based on a "logo" like movement (move 20 rotate 10 move 20 etc) that is generated on the fly through random numbers with fixed, predifined seed. The positioning of the different elements was done manually with the mouse (gltranslatef (x,y,z); showobject(); etc.) Most of the graphics are vectors (traced on the fly from the jpgs designed by iM).
I suggest you take a look at one of my presentations (either from breakpoint 08 or nvnsion ) where I explain in more detail why and how I do it this way. - isokadded on the 2008-09-12 20:51:58
- 64k Windows Malewitsch by Still [web]
- freaky ! a bit too many cubes, but colors and music (and camera movement) are ace.
