- 4k Windows dismantlement by BluFlame [web]
- Had nicer bubbles than the bubble demo. I don't care all that much for the factory scene, though.

- 64k Windows fr-076: The four elements by Farbrausch [web]
- I think this is a bit weird. It starts off nicely, and then sort of takes a bit of a pause to show the title, and then build up… build up… until it switches to the ugliest volcano (?) scene ever, and then boom, it's done. So overall impressive (especially for a one-man-show), but I think the overall direction is a bit lacking.

- demo invitation Windows This Time by Rebels
- I don't care if the idea is ripped off from “You should”, because the execution is great. Fast, action-packed, and gives me all the information I'd want to know.

- 4k Windows my first intro

- 4k Windows Stupid Air Rally by Lucid
- This is the first story 4k I've ever seen, which deserves a thumb alone. I think a lot of the execution comes off half-baked, though; all the colors are coder colors (or was the new name “debug colors”?), the cubes would be better off static than falling through each other, and it sort of ends into nothing (maybe spend the bytes at something else than a fire effect on a random plane that falls out?). But again, it was the sole 4k in the compo that stuck out, and I think it deserved a better spot in the results than 9th.

- demo Windows Nuclei by Pyrotech
- The engine is pretty standard Pyrotech (I do agree with those that complain that all the demos look rather similar :-) ), but the demo has a story to it; I genuinely wanted to know what the robot was up to at every point, which is a good sign, even though it wasn't quite resolved in the end. Some of the movements (like the initial running, and the flip) looked a bit weird, but the falling scene is lovely—I especially like the shading on the robot in that one.

- demo Windows fr-070: Trained by Farbrausch [web]
- What marq said. And what lug00ber said—this thing is way behind the curve on especially lighting.

- 4k Windows Splash by Unknown Artists [web]
- I think this is maybe trying a bit too hard—it ends up being very textbook, overreliant on shiny and a bit uninspired. But it generally executes the textbook well, so it's a borderline thumb.
