- When I first saw this demo at the Gardening '96 (besides knowing that it would be the definite winner) it made me wonder... Greece can make such a demo?..
That was the time that I acquired belief in the greek demoscene. Well done demos, and thanx emc for porting this baby for win32.
Very revolutionary for the timeframe it was released as well as the country it was released in.

- Ok.. kb .. you're the same kb I've been talking in the past in #trax ? =) .. now.. what's wrong with the flash scene? =).. there's much coding involved in flash as well.. and since the medium here is the web and size DOES matter, the flashers (well.. at least the ones who respect their audience) try to keep the filesizes to the absolute minimums.. instead of drawing a movement.. code it with actionscript and the like.
Anyhow.. on the demo now.. there's not much I can say.. except maybe that it is a reference demo.. it's the definite choice for me when someone asks me "what is a demo".. this.. and the "this is" demo by orion.

- Definately a thumbs up. I haven't seen many fast paced demos lately and this sure worked for me. Fast and happy..
Appart from the latest tech tricks applied to the effects, the demo manages to gain an amiga-like look and feel, a fact which I like very much.
The transitions are a bit harsh, but that has always been a "tradition" among the polish demo groups.
I liked the infinite camera to screen effect on the cube (I'm sure there's a special name for this)

- I can't give a remark on the visual appeal and graphics part because this is mainly a coding effort.
25kb fits nicely there. The thing pointing that ndj55 is going to be a designful coder soon is that he paid special attention to the synching part.
Now ndj55 what you need is to find more people, form a group and start working on a more team based / coordinated effort .. no matter how much time it will take.
