- demo Windows 85 dollars by Mandarine [web]
- i'll extend the normal narrowminded scenario a bit further: this demos sucks because it uses demopaja... wait... but demopaja rules! but still, it's wrong to use demopaja to create demos because it's not ment for that... wait... but it is! in any case there's no code behind it, if we just forget that someone spent over three years to code it. errrm.
this thumb is dedicated to demopaja and people using it. and not to forget, i managed to laugh my ass off during the buenzli democompo, nothing wrong with the demo, either. :) - rulezadded on the 2003-12-04 11:20:15
- demo Windows fr-032: e.t. by Farbrausch [web]
- After watching the demo I thought the music totally sucks, then I happened to listen the ogg file alone and noticed it was just the playback that got fucked up totally. In the demo the music stuttered randomly here and there, skipping one second back like an old vinyl.
Any ideas where the problem is? My configuration: Win2k/DirectX9.0b/XP1800+/512Mb/AIW9800SE/6.14.10.6378/DMX6-fire24/96 - isokadded on the 2003-12-03 10:17:14
- demo MS-Dos Second Reality by Future Crew
- hiroyoshi, i suppose you're trying to be sarcastic?
as what comes to this demo - first full length pc demo i saw, and also the one that dragged me into the demoscene. doesn't look that cool nowadays anymore but it surely kicked ass back in '93! - rulezadded on the 2003-11-27 12:23:59
- 64k Windows fr-034 / hjb-104: time index by Farbrausch [web] & Haujobb
- You can download the music from here.
Some comments and answers in what comes to the intro soundtrack; This was the first time I used kb's V2 synthesizer to compose music, and most of the time went into learning how to use that thing (I hope kb and Wayfinder didn't lose their nerves on me asking all the time how this and that works :). I also have still no clue how to mix songs with that thing efficiently and the end result can surely sound a bit coarse just out of inexperience. The next one will be better, promise!
Phred, it's actually a 19/4 beat, just mixed to normal 4/4 form. - isokadded on the 2003-11-26 23:29:36
- demo Windows fr-minus-04: PlanQuadrat by Farbrausch [web]

- yes, yes. this one proves the formula 'echo+dune=kickass' still works even in year 2003.

- diskmag Windows PAiN #54 (10/03) by Pain Staff [web]
- I thought the Crest article was refreshingly different viewpoint into partying... Besides, do you really deny the fact that coming down to Germany from Scandinavia makes 90% of the sceners go beer-frenzy? :)
On the mag itself, lots of interesting articles... Perhaps even too much as it was too much to browse in just one night - I'm not used to this big Pain issues. :) The background music was also decent this time, although I would've scrapped the 2nd tune. - isokadded on the 2003-10-22 10:16:31
