  the trick is a normal atari c2p... as you maybe know the bitplanes on st are interleaved
  
  1111 2222 3333 4444
  
  with movep you can hold in a long all planar data for 4 bitplane...
  so a movep writes the data to:
  xx11 xx22 xx33 xx44
  
  and so on... later the bitplanes are copied to amiga format...via the blitter...
  
  but this is an old technique... i don't use anymore... new one is much better...
  
  yeah... i know about the problems with 060 and stuff... i hope next will will be more
  compatible

• that's cool... ok not the intro itself... more that i found this disk again... this was my first intro and crack on amiga ... as you can see quite ugly but anyway... i'm happy got it back... i thought i never would see this again...
  
  because of totally coding dumpness it's not working on new amigas...but if you really want to run this (i guess not ;)) ) it works on winaue.. use the a500 config...you need to use kickstart 1.1 ... no fast or slowmem and very important switch to the ocs chipset...
  i'm not sure about the year... starglider was released in 1986 says wikipedia... well anyway
