- demo Windows The 90s by Diabolic Force
- For me, this is everything that's wrong about the demoscene. Repeat some demos from the 90s, more or less as a straight copy with nothing new or surprising, but with 100x the system demands. So I don't really see the point. Sorry :-)

- demo Windows Alphabet by Gaspode
- What others said. It's fun and it's pretty well done, but there are clear weaknesses (the actual saying of the letters, reuse of “axis” for X/Y/Z). Overall a weak thumb. This is the kind of prod you can only do once, of course. :-)

- demo Windows Gestalt by Quite & T-Rex [web]
- I think it's nice; obviously I can't thumb up the engine, but you used it well, and there's more than enough of your own stuff here to warrant a thumb.
It _is_ considered common courtesy to credit other people's stuff on the compo slide if you use it, though. (E.g., pretty much every 4k intro I saw at assembler credited Crinkler.) - rulezadded on the 2016-08-10 00:22:22
- demo Windows liquiXion: the demo man by Adapt [web]
- A very close contender for winner (as the score rightfully says)! A bit incoherent, but also very nice at places.

- wild Wild Teletext 40 years by Paraguay
- It's fun to have people doing demos on “new” platforms, but I don't think this warrants a thumb. There's not a lot of effects, and they're not done in any especially novel way or with especially good sync. (I mean, the library is already there on GitHub.)

- wild Oric Line Feed by Defence Force [web]
- I think this is a bit too slow to be really interesting. Also, next time, you should probably make thicker lines, because it was really hard to see anything on the bigscreen. :-)

- demo Windows Terminal 7 by Cocoon [web]
- Whoa. So much stuff.

- 64k Amiga OCS/ECS Everyway
- I didn't really understand the hype when I saw it the first time, when then I started listening to the music, and it's actually a nice tune. The graphics don't score huge marks for 64k impressiveness even on Amiga, but they fit well in and are nicely in sync.

- 8k invitation Windows Vikanim by Loonies [web]
- Well, that was a fun one :-)

- demo Wild Tiki Tiki Ta by Darklite [web]
- A lot of fun; I have not-so-fond memories of the Tiki, and it's nice to see people pushing it. All the classical effects, but well done—the last part is a bit long, of course.
Sorry for the ghosting during the compo playback. We'll do better next time :-) - rulezadded on the 2016-07-17 18:51:47
