• I love the rendering and artwork. Clear winner of the compo. The story itself could perhaps use some polishing :-)

• Sky-high technical achievement. Great modelling, material work and lighting (the only thing that isn't spot-on is the side of the stack of sheets, and something odd with the perspective on the far back corner of the 5 1/4" disk). Somehow, the composition does not sit well with me. Obvious thumb.

• I will repeat my usual plea for this kind of production: If you are making a demo that relies so much on antialiased lines, your antialiasing needs to actually work. :-) Specifically, you'll need to make it gamma-correct (render in linear space and convert to sRGB at the end), or you'll have weird shimmering and jaggies when things move around; look at 1:41 and/or 1:54 in the YouTube video.

• As a kind of period piece, I think this works pretty well. There's one thing that's pretty jarring, though: For an intro that is so much about antialiasing lines, the shimmering as things move around is pretty disturbing. I wonder if there would be CPU time left for pumping the coverage values through a gamma correction table somehow, and if that would help things?
