- I think this prod works as piece of art, it's interesting and nice to watch. But it doesn't work as a demo. The problem is, probably, demoscene != art

- wow!
We don't ask anybody to download any DLL. "DirectX installed" is part of the requirements to run the demo. If you don't have it, you don't fulfill the requirements. As simple as that, we don't ask you to download anything if you don't want, we just ask you to now watch it. However you did install DirectX in the end, apparently it wasn't that painful? Ready to enjoy other demos too now? Welcome to the world of computer graphics.
Also, I don't think it's lame to have rights to install software in your own computer. Wait..., weren't these machines called PERSONAL computers? I really dislike the admin-user-login-password-account-quota-permission and linux sequrity paranoia in general. "Hey personal computer, it's me, ME you know, MEEEE!" That's now a complain to you thou, just a thinking of mine. Anyway, in general I think most demo watchers actually do control their own computer.
Lastly, I'm sorry, but I basically don't give a shit about the crackscene and their rules. Personally I hate creackers and virus hackers and stuff, always using their skills to fuck instead of amaze people with their prods, with 4ks intros. Probably they are not good enough? Anyway, don't call me cracker please.
But hey, thanks for the cdc, although I would ask you to remove it if you still think this is a demo. - isokadded on the 2009-08-25 16:58:46

- just for the record, I had exactly the same problem as shinmai, Windows XP x64 SP2, VC++ 2008 Professional.

- good good, congratulations for listening and making a final version which runs fast(er), looks nicer and has source code, for taking the critics (I agree with smash) and deciding to move forward, for being the prove that the scene is young too, and also for winning Assembly, and making this great production.
It's technically nice, like Sult, but looks nicer imho. I hope it makes it into the scene.org awards. - rulezadded on the 2009-08-21 20:48:11

- a copy of the 4k music disk by TBC (I even aborted a 4k with exactly these sort of attractors because it would fail to be innovative!). By the way, the screenshot reminds me of "Baile de Energia"
Anyways, the intro is very nice to rewatch, I like it. - rulezadded on the 2009-08-14 03:01:49
