Quote:TomSoft did something like this in »A Trip To Mars« the year
before.
Information acknowleged and appreciated. I did not know this demo.
Actually, I missed all of Thomas Landspurg's releases back in the days.
Do not ask how this could happened. - isokadded on the 2022-04-03 16:27:54

Dancing in my room alone while watching it =')
...had to burst out laughing while reading that. Nice to imagine. But
why not? The music is great; though I have listened to it a way too
often.
I like the opening with the 3D stars and the plain blue text and the
very special vector cube that follows.
The 3D world was a "never seen before" and impressive part for me,
too. Also, the raytracing is neat. And the starwars scroller looks much
better than I remembered.
Yeah, what a nice demo :-) - rulezadded on the 2022-04-02 17:01:15
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Glorious Globe by Visual Mathematics International
- This is pretty, pretty cool and advanced for '88.

According to Kestra BitWorld: Yes. - rulezadded on the 2022-04-02 11:57:06
- 16k Amstrad CPC Battro by Batman Group
- This is definitely a super-hero scroller! The music / sync and graphics
are nice, too. I really do like and enjoy to watch it from time to time -
even though I am a fan of Spidey ;-) - rulezadded on the 2022-03-30 17:09:48
- demo Atari XL/XE Pacem in Terris by quasimodos [web]
- Highly entertaining. Must have taken a while to arrange the
choreography. The Matrix-like re-play in slow motion at the end is
great! Yie AR Kung-Fu ;-) - rulezadded on the 2022-03-20 13:43:12

Yeah, I agree on that. - rulezadded on the 2022-03-17 16:47:53
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Hardwired by Crionics & The Silents [web]
- No question, a lot of nice and technically advanced effects (thumb for
that) but in spite of that - and I hope I will not take any beating for that
- this demo was never among my favorites. Something is missing and I
find it rather boring and sterile. Place 3, 4 and 5 of The Party 91 are
more exciting - at least for me. - rulezadded on the 2022-03-17 16:45:08
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Desert Dream by Kefrens
- Just re-watched it after many, many years. What a ride. A very polished
and entertaining show. Could not remember all parts. Shame on me!
Laxity knew the ropes!
P.S. ("Battle of the titans"): As far as I remember Chaos picked holes
into Laxity and the effects (e.g. trackloader at critical location,
inefficient rotozoomer a.s.o.) whereas Laxity responded in an interview
to that with "angry man" and that certain people out there obviously
had serious problems in their childhood.
Quite entertaining to look back at that quibble after all the years :-) - rulezadded on the 2022-03-13 14:33:39
