- 64k Windows Return of the braineating metaballs by alien prophets [web]
- Like a 64k version of anything else done by Alien Prophets - good, unique effects, no consistent design or transition. Music is allright, percussion is a bit like hplus.

- dentro MS-Dos Saga dentro by Dust
- Also referred to as Dust Preview or just "Preview". For kicks, I tried running it again and.. surprise! Not only did it run at the right speed under an Athlon 1.4, but I didn't need to boot to DOS. And sound worked too. None of this can be said for Saga, which pretty much hates all modern PCs.
OK, it's nothing breathtaking.. filled vectors, vectorballs, and morphing wire vectors, woo! But a fun peek into the early PC days. - isokadded on the 2001-10-17 00:14:02

- demo MS-Dos eden [explora2] by Bomb
- What made this demo different from Caero/MoM/etc was it was a "flythrough"; (almost) everything was put in a single scene. The others only had to load a bit at a time. Dimension by Gods tried something similar in 1998. Splendid by Excused beat Eden to the 3D Bomberman appearance. :)
Like shifter, thumbs up for the time, now it almost seems old-fashioned. - rulezadded on the 2001-10-16 17:14:54

- if (home_country == DK) thumbs_up(megademo2000) else thumbs_down(megademo2000);
I hate biased thumbs-up-for-all-my-buddies crap. - sucksadded on the 2001-10-16 16:40:47

- demo Amiga AGA GBG by The Black Lotus [web] & Up Rough [web]
- Great design with simple code, kickass soundtrack. Some of the objects-over-city-sky scenes seem a little too Gerbera-like though. :)
Still, it's everything I expected a TBL/Uprough co-op would be. - rulezadded on the 2001-10-14 22:08:16

- demo Windows fr-06: black 2000 by Farbrausch [web]
- I tried the fixpack and the fr09 EXE (btw I had to use the IMS.DLL from fr09 too), and at 800x600x32 it still crashed around halfway through (log snippet follows).
FCCF: opening file 'b2kth/nosfer.fnt' from archive 'b2kfin_th' (as 'b2kth/nosfer.fnt')

I have a 32MB GF2 Pro, isn't that enough? I think it even worked at 800x600 on my TNT2 M64. - isokadded on the 2001-10-14 19:47:21
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS voyage by Razor 1911 [web]
- Actually, they released at least a couple Amiga demos in 1994.. not to mention a bunch of intros. Or do you not consider that the same group?
This is possibly the _only_ classic Amiga demo I could never get running under an emulator. If anyone's had success, please let me know. - isokadded on the 2001-10-14 04:18:52
