- I thought this one ruled. The effects were nice, esp. the particles. Music ruled too. Sync made it excellent. Going straight in my favourites folder :)

- 64k Windows obscenity by Dust Inc. [web]
- Was quite nice. But it looked like some objects were made from many smaller objects for no reason, making it go slow.

- 64k Windows The Drop
- Crashed about 2 seconds after displaying 'rest in peace'. Tried compatability mode, crashed on same screen, but this time waited for 5 minutes! Winxp, p4 1800, gf4 mx 440, latest detonators.
Let me know when theres a fix or linux port ready! - isokadded on the 2003-07-28 13:10:56
- 4k Windows 4kwave by Rgba [web]
- Too short! I was enjoying it, and it ended!
Waving meshes rule anyway though, especially with nice shiny surfaces. Next time bumpmap it for the worlds biggest thumb. - rulezadded on the 2003-07-28 13:06:44
- 4k Windows A Full ! by Fuzzion [web]
- I was hoping the blue screen was an amusing start to the intro... Oh well, needed a reboot anyway. That was with the com file (also gx440, winxp, latest drivers...)
The exe worked fine though, nice 4k, great tune, well it's been said already. Rulex. - rulezadded on the 2003-07-28 13:03:23
- 4k Windows Eat me by Dust Inc. [web]
- Nice stuff. Music would improve it, but it still rule.z

- 256b MS-Dos lander by 3SC [web]
- Looks a bit like a voxel stack dump :) But maybe not. Nice anyway, if a little slow.

- FR-08 was better I thought. Technically. Overall, this intro dominates fr-08 like a pimp and his bitch :)
Pretty amazing technically, excellent design, excellent soundtrack, and it looks just lovely. And as time passes, cpus get faster and I can keep turning the resolution up :)
When it was released, this was perhaps the best intro ever, now I think there have been better (project genesis, poem to a horse come to mind). But it still stays in my folder for favourite demos, and will do for a long time. I just hope exceed will make a follow up, with better sound engine, perhaps improve the raytracer as well, and either get rid of the poetry (which seems to rule and suck at the same time somehow) or at least put something good in.
Still, thankyou exceed for this classic :) - rulezadded on the 2003-07-28 12:35:28
- demo MS-Dos Windows moaï by Nomad [web]
- Didn't find it too amusing, i think i'd seen same concept in some previous demos. But quite nicely made, soft 3d engine was good for the time (if a bit wobbly). I didn't like it enough for a rules, but it certainly doesn't suck :)

- demo MS-Dos 73 Million Seconds by Pulse [web]
- A classic. Just love those layered 3d-effect things that look like water :)
