- demo Windows lost in the underflow (party version) by Radiant
- Great work and impressive comeback from radiant, It should really rank better. Something is wrong in the cube scene, initially they moved, but in this released version (which is also the one that was played at the compo) they are not moving. Too bad because the effect was very nice, I hope it will be fixed in the final.
Anyway, great job, It should indeed rank higher

- demo Windows Eon by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Very nice prod from ASD, although I definitely do not consider it in the same quality class of any of ther post-97 prods. It had design but that was never my first concern in any demo, so I really prefer the sense amok prod from all react '04 prods. Still terribly impressive for a one day work, extremely impressive I should say

- demo Windows Negative by Sense Amok
- I must state my disagreement with the rest, this was definitely the best demo from react, some of the effects were very impressive, and there are also syncing and transitions although it was finished at the party place in a very limited time frame. Thumbs up and my congradulations to outsider for pulling that feat.

- demo Linux Eternal by The Lab [web]
- This is our contribution to react04, a very hastily made prod (one week or so of making), 50% of it done at the partyplace. Final version and win32 port will come in a few weeks.

- demo XBOX A Scener's Brain by Reversed Engineers
- Unfortunately a long time has passed since ReAct and I can't say that I remember the actual demo (nor do I have an X-Box to see it again), however thumbs up for the effort, and for bringing a different contribution to ReAct.
Good job samurai. - rulezadded on the 2004-02-01 21:56:29
- demo Windows Dreamchild by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- regarding fmod: I have heard complains about both prods I released with fmod about clicking sound, although my 2 computers always runed them (and dreamchild of course) without any problems at all.
However even if we assume that the clicking problem lies with fmod (which I doubt) just the fact that it's so damn easy to use and well designed is enough reason for me to continue using it. In fact it must be the only library that I use without even considering wrapping it with my own interface and that says a lot.
People should look to fmod as an example before designing library interfaces and APIs - isokadded on the 2003-08-28 01:07:29
- demo Windows Feed Your Machine by Faktory
- Although the whole design sucks, the smoke effect is SO impressive that compensates. I saw a lot of nice demos in asm03 but this one had me jumping of the chair and yelling.... If this smoke is not from Fedkiw's SIGGRAPH 2001 paper, I'm a gardener... my warm congratulations to the coder for bringing state of the art Computer Graphics research into realtime demos...
