- You can love your computer, just don't.. LOVE your computer, okay?
This gets an A for effort, but I just can't get myself to thumb up something this close to a boy band video.. but hey, maybe you guys with younger sisters can get them interested in the scene this way. :)
BTW, can the original SID be found anywhere on the net? (just for comparison, I haven't heard it before) - isokadded on the 2002-07-09 02:25:45
- demo MS-Dos 73 Million Seconds by Pulse [web]
- It's in the U.S., not Ukraine :). But yeah, there will be a mirror (in Norway, I believe) and we'll announce it once it's official. Bug Trixter if you'd like to speed things up a bit. We'll gladly take any FTP mirror offers! (see the Jun 26 news entry on www.demodvd.org)

- demo Windows Only Kings And Better by Fairlight [web] & The Silents [web]
- Gets pretty awesome, then just when the music's at its most intense.. whaa? Just a scroller? OMG, I actually agree with Stefan. :) I'll thumb up the demo when they make an ending that doesn't give the impression that they ran out of time - because it really deserves better.

- demo Windows XL-R8R by Mad Onion [web]
- Yeah, I've been contemplating adding this, I guess someone finally had the guts. :) It's pretty old actually, from late 2000. But it's still good. They said the purpose of it was to suggest potential HW upgrades for your PC, but I think they just felt like making a demo :). It's not very long, but there are a lot of details, like the scratches on the mirror! And of course, the crowdpleasing naked chick. The best thing about XL-R8R (other than the music) is how fast it is - it ran smooth on my old P2-450 with TNT2! How many demos these days are capable of that?

- 64k Windows kurwa kube by Unique [web]
- Actually, I thought it was pretty cool for 64k. Solid design, tho some gfx other than fonts might've been nice - but not at all necessary with the efx going on.

- 64k MS-Dos Cocaholic by Hazard
- Another in a long history of cola-advertising demos. :)
I can't get it running anymore without crashing, but it's no big loss. The was some neat 3D stuff in it, but man, the music was possibly the worst I've ever heard. The low thumb goes out just for that. And maybe that cheap-looking skull too. - sucksadded on the 2002-06-28 18:42:51
- demo MS-Dos/gus Higher desire by Miracle
- Hard to get running, IIRC. But I've seen it a couple times.. can't describe it in much more detail than DD. Was pretty good.
For the record, this is NOT the same Miracle that made Esperflow and Never Assume. This was done by the Spanish group, those were done by the American group. - isokadded on the 2002-06-28 18:30:18
- demo Windows afri-demo by afri-cola [web]
- Except every other hybris/NEMESIS wild-demo, maybe.
