- report MS-Dos The Party 4 Report by Keen Like Frogs & legend design
- The Hornet link still works.. granted, not for much longer.

- Kinda neat video demo - good music, reminds me a bit of 100% Prophets stuff.. of course, much of this can be done realtime with the latest video hardware. :)
As mentioned in the info, needs DivX 5.0.3, available here. - rulezadded on the 2003-03-24 00:43:54

- Whoops, didn't realize it was GUS-only, otherwise I would've added it as "MS-Dos/gus". I remember always getting the music to work, but then I did my GUS right around the time this was released.

- A fight? With Reebok? At a demoparty?

I wouldn't miss it for the world.
That poetry, it takes me back to the Imphobia days.. (sniff) - isokadded on the 2003-03-07 23:56:33

- There are about 10 different bytes between the two (see ryg's comment above). I really don't think that's a coincidence, especially when fr-0.1 conveniently came with the asm code. And the guy even had the nerve to put his own name in there. A tarnish of the Scoopex name.
Folks, demo code is for learning, not copying. - sucksadded on the 2003-03-07 18:30:43

- 64k Windows gamma 2 (win32) by mfx [web]
- Woot, thanks, maker of this port! Been wanting this one since the original ran in 15-bit color. And I have to disagree with Crest, I enjoy this one at least as much, if not more, than the first Gamma. It's just slower paced and has more colors. Though I'm not sure there's any actual raytracing going on (looks more like envmapping to me), it looks pretty.

- demo Windows byzantine by Unique [web]
- Not bad, looks like they put more effort into it than most other "art" demos. I could see this stuff shown on screens at clubs and similar events, like recent MFX demos - while some *actual* music is playing, of course. :)

Heehee.. it's not my fault I submitted the article over FOUR months ago. :) PAiN and Static Line both published it in October. At least I saved my hide with "by the time you read this article, it may already be available". - isokadded on the 2003-02-26 01:36:42
- demo Windows Zilog win32 by Sunflower [web]
- Yippee! One of the few ported demos where I can't get the original working. Music/design is bizarre at times, but there's a lot of neat stuff in there. I miss the smooth blending/dissolving effects that DOS/non-3D-accel demos provided.. but I *don't* miss 320x200 (or 240) resolution. :)
A request, mrock? LOA win32? - rulezadded on the 2003-02-23 23:15:56
