- demo Amiga AGA Megademo 2000 by Haujobb
- 2000 was a bad year for amiga demos (but to be fair, 1999 and 2001 were both good years)

- musicdisk Windows Emerald Box by Conspiracy [web]
- awwman, i was hoping for a 64kb softsynth disk like fr-028 - was it too much to ask? :) 20 chiptunes in 1mb ain't exactly innovation..

- demo Windows Eon by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Well, normally ASD has too many different ideas in one demo - this one, being rushed, has just the right number. :) The flow between parts is much smoother than before. The music reminds me of Vincenzo/CNS's work - again, much cleaner than previous ASD music.

- demo Windows cursesdemo (wincursesdemo) by The Dennis Courtney 5 & Polygony [web]
- but duuude.. it's oldschool! heh, i'm amused that it got third.. and you're all downloading this.. and that polygony claimed credit for the port. i wouldn't admit to it. :)

- demo MS-Dos/gus Electric Gruyère by Da Cheez Brigade
- OK, this demo was never really "released", per se, but I talked them into including it on my NAID CD, which is now public domain, so.. here you go. :) It actually runs in DOSBox, with SB off and the GUS at 220/7/1, but the music is too slow. Play the S3M to hear the real deal.
Also, there is a "live" mpeg video from the party compo here, but it only shows a bit of each part, not the whole demo. - rulezadded on the 2004-04-27 03:35:21
- 64k Windows Ausflug by Black Maiden [web] & bypass [web]
- You had me for the first few seconds.. roadmap turning into a 3d scene, cool and stylish.. then you repeated the scene, unanimated, ad nauseum.. and you lost me. Rise was far better than this. The music isn't bad though, so.. oink.

- demo MS-Dos Inconexia by Iguana [web]
- OK, technically it's not the first demo with a fire effect, but Jare/Iguana DID invent it. Check out the Fire Demo, released in May 1993. Xography had a fire effect in their ASM93 demo (Elements) too.. but they may have taken the code from Fire Demo.
