Wont go into mathematical analysis of how it happened, i think we didnt need to be at the partyplace the see WHY... it's just very disappointing, hope you see the point. Nothing's wrong with a compo not having state-of-the-art entries, but it's a bit different from having decent prods (like the demo compo), and still winning with.. this.
"Preselection does not help against low entry quality."
It does. That's why it's called "preselection" :) (guess you had one for the musiccompo too, for example)
"Some people really are much too fanatic about all this. "
No not at all :-) No hard feelings against anyone, especially the organizers, or MV, i'm just a bit disappointed and wanted to share my opinion. Actually i think it is you who take it a bit too seriously, i know you're still exhausted, but hey, relax, and congrats for your work! :-) - isokadded on the 2004-04-18 03:11:10

"If you don't even visit one of the most important demo partys, you are not part of the scene and should not comment at all"
Really? You know what........ (paragraph deleted, too harsh)
For me, it seems if it's ascii-wanking to 16color chicks is all it takes to win "one of the most important demoparties", then why would anyone make an effort to do something REALLY good.
Face it scamp, it was mainly already-too-drunk mainly-german-speaking people who voted it first. And the 20+ (or so) demos were partly your fault - nothing prevents you to use preselection. (should have learnt from mekka, remember?) Don't tell me "we did expect only 5-6 demos", after all, this is "one of the most important demoparties".
Hope you were kidding.
No thumb down, because as a joke production (i guess it was never meant to be anything else), it's pretty good :-) - isokadded on the 2004-04-17 02:51:19

- Awesome! I've been waiting for something like this for years.... rocking soundtrack, fitting meshes (even if static... at least these ARE meshes and not the Nth torus-knots), nice lighting, and surprisingly short loading time (from Cocoon at least :)))
The atmosphere somehow reminded me of the game Tron2.0, which is good for me, because i loved it :)
thanks guys! - rulezadded on the 2004-01-25 17:41:20
