- @hardy, good idea :) but this one doesn't even have a z dimension, it's lucy 64b - without transparency - stitched to a meh 2D rotozoomer. i'll keep your trick in mind though ;)

- @Harekiet
i put some further effort into it
- using 10h to obtain font info
- fixing the left border of chars
- syncing to the timer instead of vsync
- some sizecoding magic
screenshot
as a result, it's equally fast and readable on all systems
is 128 bytes, and works on (my) FreeDos notebook
still nothing on my XP notebook, but that one is really
weird anyway :D
How does this work for you? - isokadded on the 2017-05-30 14:33:39
- 128b MS-Dos speaCore by Desire [web]
- Somehow i never linked the updated version
-> speacore safest 128b.asm ( works on FreeDos ) - isokadded on the 2017-05-30 12:01:38

- I'll simply ignore the 4 bytes of sound and judge by the visual impression : this is beautiful =)

- so it's hypnoteye in the core? i'll allow it ;)
brought this down to 116 bytes, to put VGA sync in
then it's back to 125 bytes ;) routline_opt.asm
i'm curious how this was shown, the font address does
not work on either WinXP or FreeDos, but neither does
my alternative (0xC010 instead of 0xFFA6) Both work
flawlessly in DosBox though =) - rulezadded on the 2017-05-30 11:47:33
