- Nice, looks like all the integer stuff actually works when fixing the small things. And a quite good amount of shader source you managed to squeeze into those 984 bytes (maybe I should revise my 1k framework once more ;)

- Works here on the 8600, but it's a pretty far cry from being glsl and not just nvidia-cg-glsl ;)
Apart from all the small issues (mostly missing type casts) I'm not sure bitwise operators works in the radeon drivers yet (has only been allowed since glsl 1.3 (ie gl3.0). And the integer constant overflow errors don't sound to promising either. Seems more like a rewriting than a simple fixing job (especially if the 1k limit should be kept).
(yeah, time to finish/release that shaderreplacer thing ;) - isokadded on the 2008-12-29 16:22:13

- aharonid: get a clue or at least find a 4k more suitable for your api bashing. This is basicly just using a minimal amount of opengl to get access to write a program for the gpu and then a software renderer doing everything itself.
(still waiting for some lazy artist to move a few color sliders btw;) - isokadded on the 2008-12-04 10:41:52

- Haven't tried on the ati hw yet, but amd shaderanalyzer says: "ERROR: 0:11: 'assign' : l-value required "x" (can't modify a varying)" (which is correct according to specs..).
Fixing that makes it compile, but fixing it with zero ekstra bytes will require a bit of rewriting. But nice you got the rest right, just the right number of .'s etc. - rulezadded on the 2008-12-03 16:14:46

- optimus: raymarching. Set up a single fullscreen quad, foreach pixel step inwards while evaluating an implicit function until you eventually pass some threshold value (ie hit the object).
Production is very 4k'ish, too much for a demo. Somehow liked the "meshing" part though. Bogus error about ps3 on my ps4 card. - isokadded on the 2008-11-17 17:39:34

- auld: maybe you should try reuploading it - we got a "watch in high quality" option attached to nevada when uploading it today.

But raytracing is interesting as it allows another set of possible objects/scenes for 4ks - isokadded on the 2008-11-16 21:39:33
