- JAC!, ...however, not many demos can be created by bruteforcing! You could even write a program to do the bruteforcing. err wait... um..... whatever... ;)

- sweet, soothing demo. I associate it a bit with the game Osmos, which is never a bad thing, kind of same feeling, a cozy one. thanks!

- hardy, you'll see more of that effect in a future demo :) ...where we don't have to make it look like a nebula, it can get much more interresting.
KeyJ, you're right, thanks for pointing that out. The rendering uses float buffers but the fade is applied outside of that pipeline, the fade could've been done inside the fbo's. I'll think of that in the future.
tripper, she reached her destination, but the planet was blown to pieces by an accident... so she's a bit sad in the ending sequence.. - isokadded on the 2011-08-13 11:48:57
- demo Windows Spin by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- I didn't like it much during the compo, but on closer acquaintance (also, closer to the screen) I do.
Thus I didn't want to comment until I rewatched it properly. I often find "glitchy" stuff messy and annoying, but this one is nice...right amount of it I guess. I still like your "butterfly effect" more, but that's just my taste.. ;)
About the music discussion, I find no problem with it and the music and vocals are good I think. In fact, a lot of synth pop / EBM acts have much worse vocals than this. - rulezadded on the 2011-08-09 21:44:11

- Ok, just to clear up the sound size issue, the soundtrack is mp3 and it _is_ 128kbps and I was sloppy and remembered wrong when writing the vimeo comments... Those have now been corrected. The mp3 is 11.3MB. Which is NOT 50% but 35%. I wanted FLAC also, but it ended up huge, so I used mp3 instead.

- laughed hard at this during the compo.
xernobyl, The ending (and also the group name) is a minecraft reference. - rulezadded on the 2011-08-09 18:09:14
