- demo MS-Dos Toasted by Cubic Team & $eeN [web]
- the "version finale" with the ctststfx.zip fix (unzip the XM) works great in dosbox, although there's a brief pause between the video mode changes. amazing how i still get warm fuzzies from the first coaster part, even if this is long before the days of filtering and mipmaps. :) a bigger screen helps.

- demo Amiga AGA lux aeterna luceat eis by Ephidrena
- whoa, i didn't comment on this one yet? let's remedy that. i love slow, atmospheric demos done right. the narrow color palette was perfect for this, and convenient on an amiga. :) it does its job of standing apart from the crowd while still showing off talent.

- demo Amiga AGA Atari Falcon 030 Ocean Machine by The Black Lotus [web]
- looking back at this demo, and my previous comment which found its way into starstruck :), ocean machine really does stand out on its own compared to many other tbl releases. yolk's music helps, along with the voxel scenes. i think those voxel parts would be deemed ugly on a pc, but i admire them here, as both a feat of code on the amiga and a middle finger to the pc world of polygons.

well, yeah, it's good.. but they need to put a "contains 20% new content" at the start of each demo.

- diskmag MS-Dos Imphobia #6 by Imphobia
- the first imphobia i read, so, major sentimental value, especially realizing for the very first time that i wasted a whole night to the demoscene. :) the new interface was great for the time, although it's a pain to get working right on newer pc's and in dosbox.

- we removed the vocal samples in the landscape part because we thought we might get in legal trouble.. we *probably* could've gotten away with it (we took our chances more with vol 2), but weren't sure at the time. same goes with the intro to "megablast".
