- demo Windows Shapeshift by Cocoon [web]
- I am unsure about the choice of colors in the blobs scene but everything else was pretty much spot on. Sure, futuristic asian cityscape is not exactly reinventing the wheel but gosh, it looks fantastic! Cocoon once again manage to create that modern demoscene vibe their productions are known for!

- Putting things inside the Hupfburg and make them bounce around is an ingenious idea. I love it!

- 64k Windows Darkness Lay Your Eyes Upon Me by Conspiracy [web]
- Ok just watched it again and I'd like to rectify my comment about the fire scene. When the camera moves out to reveal the full scene, it looks really breath-taking!

- 64k Windows Darkness Lay Your Eyes Upon Me by Conspiracy [web]
- So I was watching the video livestream and when the scene with the house appeared ... jaw literally dropped on the floor. I didn't expect a realistic scene complete with trees, wind and a complex human-made structure of such detail in a single shot inside a 64k demo. The blazing fire scene with the man in front of it didn't convince me as much because it was very blurry and like others have stated, the shaky camera felt a bit unnatural. But that's complaining on a high level.
In all other aspects, I believe you exceeded everyone's expectations by a mile, I found myself teased really hard when the demo ended - who wouldn't want this to be a full-length cinematic movie, seriously :D
You set the bar frightfully high with this demo! - rulezadded on the 2016-03-30 02:06:16
- 64k Windows fermi paradox by Mercury [web]
- This is easily my personal favorite from the competition and while watching the party livestream I was secretly hoping that it would win. Beautifully crafted scenes with a perfectly matching soundtrack and for the most part the camera work is outstanding. Compared to Conspiracy's dem, I find this one slightly more satisfying in terms of length and beauty, and because it is therefore less of a tease. That said, it's impossible for me to like one but not the other production. The hard work that has been poured into both of them is very evident. So contratulations! A well deserved 1st place :)

- fizzer introduced me to Mark Ferrari's work about half a year ago, and I'm totally in love with it ever since. Reminds me a lot of my DPaint IV color cycling experiments from decades ago.
Would somebody please be so kind and tell me what 'original content' this prod offers exactly? The picture clearly is not, is it newly written, 'own' code or just an adaption / conversion / rip of the website's code?
I'm confused. - isokadded on the 2016-02-18 00:40:12
- demo Commodore 64 20 Years Onslaught by Onslaught [web]
- A fantastic release for your 20th anniversary, congratulations Onslaught!! The music is lovely and compliments the effects / content in this demo very well.
Let's have a toast for another 20+ fine years!! :) - rulezadded on the 2016-01-19 05:05:19
- demo Windows Happy New Year 2016 by Cocoon [web]
- Amazing soundtrack and visually stunning, but just like in "we stand divided" the lack of shadows from the moving objects is evident. Great in all other aspects, love it guys!
