wysiwtf tnx! Exactly what i mean.
for gfx.
congratulations on playing someone else's animated gif on old fart hardware
Maali, it is shame on you - you didn't know classic.
Code contains palette cycling, not a .gif animation.

This would be a very cool background in a demo. Even as a loader this would be awesome. Perhaps a grafician for doing this would be hard to find anyways.
Looks like the pic I saw on the wall of my favorite Chinese restaurant. Add some content and I'll thumb it up
port it to the Vector06c

Awesome colour-cycling madness by legendary Mark Ferrari. Lame release by gOblinish.

Ripping is lame and without clear credits is even worst.
I don' t know whether the use of these graphics is allowed or not, anyway the color cycling effect is really cool instead.

Should have won the Complete Lameness award 2016!

I personally don't have problem other people using ripped graphics but if the production barely has any content other original than code that sets up the palette and rotates certain range of the palette then I'm not terribly happy about that. It's just that not enough originality was put into this production to even begin to appreciate the production.

haha, what? :D To be fair I have nothing against porting anything or using existing materials to produce something, but if you're going to deny it, even *after* I posted the original (or something close to it, anyway, I don't know if there's any older versions), you're a fucking idiot.
I wasn't going to thumb this down but holy shit, you get one for idiocy :')

This is pixel-exactly like an old Deluxe Paint ANIM file.
bad faith award.
for the music

g0blinish: Maali probably right-clicked on the picture and found this. Lots of gfx used without credit on the web. The demoscene should be better. And we are!
Credits should be displayed in the demo. Maybe included in uploaded archive. Not added after. This is how it must be. Not many except the demoscene care who did the work. Not the public. Not companies. Not authorities. Not customers. Only the demoscene, movies, and a few others.
So a mistake, OK. But pointing to other mistakes will not improve your mistake.
OK, 2 comments on your demos today. But I am not attacking you. :)

Yeaaah... bringing in your fight with Alone_Coder isn't going to save you. Everyone already thinks that petty squabble has gone on long enough. Regardless of what you said on the first page, the NFO here on Pouet still doesn't have credits to the original, which most of us have likely already seen and would recognize, myself included.wow, guys. you put so much "rulez" yo the prod with ripped gfx:

I also have to say that palette cycling isn't exactly novel, so this would really only be a worthwhile prod if it had original pixel graphics that were worth looking at.
Sorry, can't support you here with this.
Photon: No, and as I don't like you assuming things on my behalf, it's a rather well known picture so i recognized the original. then i googled it and saw it wasn't even repixeled or anything, just cropped without proper credits. but my bad for saying animated gif instead of palette cycling, oh and yes, palette cycling is one of the classic effects i even once managed to code myself back in the pascal+asm days, so try again! ;)

fizzer introduced me to Mark Ferrari's work about half a year ago, and I'm totally in love with it ever since. Reminds me a lot of my DPaint IV color cycling experiments from decades ago.
Would somebody please be so kind and tell me what 'original content' this prod offers exactly? The picture clearly is not, is it newly written, 'own' code or just an adaption / conversion / rip of the website's code?
I'm confused.

yeah
just lame
just lame
yes, very lame - parse .lbm and palette, write code for tsconf and it is lame.
fucking idiots
fucking idiots
For those who don't understand the g0blinish's humor: there is NO palette on the ZX Spectrum Enhanced (Evolution, etc). GIF animation - 756K, intro - 125K
