• my comment about pv3d was about future learning, not about this particular demo/intro (whatever). and yeah, i saw those examples, pretty good actually, and i'll repeat it one more time: use hardware accelerated fullscreen mode. i know you've downscaled everything to the resolution which fractalzoomer is capable handling of, but that could be avoided, and it all would look MUCH better.
  
  first thing i've learned was assembler on Z80, 16 years ago :P i have nothing against oldskool, i love oldskool. it's just about execution, which is NOT bad (do you see any thumb down here?), it's just could be better. but as i've said, i know it's your first prod and i DO respect it. so don't get my comments wrong, and watch your usage of 'bullshit'. greetz.

• + music (but it's not yours, it's 'borrowed', credits are in place, fine, but what i'm going to comment is basically your code)
  + fractalzoomer (not so hard to code, and i already saw one being used as a texture in fully textured (with perspective) environment, in as3
  + voxels, but again, flash is very specific platform, and some effects with a little bit of thinking are far more easier to code than some people think...
  + overall feeling - not so bad
  
  - most effects would be ok at best, year or two ago, but we have 2008. go and check out some recent flash stuff here, because this is actually very far from actionscript 3 limits
  - cube - fine. but where is perspective? if there is any, i can't see it. learn how to use flash.geom.Transform (and use Mathematica instead of looking into papervision3d sources to get some usefull formulas, you'll learn something new. realtime perspective-correct texture mapping with realtime tesselation in actionscript 3 IS possible)
  - it's not a demo imho. it's intro. and it could be actually released as 32k, if you would make it work without the music, too. again, search for flash stuff here and see what demo is.
  - i can guess what did you use, but if something doesn't scale well for higher resolutions - it's not the way. again, we have 2008. at least add fullscreen option with hardware scalling (available since flash player 9.0.115, flash.display.Stage.fullScreenSourceRect), if your engine is too slow to render stuff at native desktop resolution
  
  i love when people without any idea about what as3 is capable of, find flash stuff like this impressive.

• (on the other side, forums are very nice, whole site looks good and it works flawlessly on my 56kbps gprs connection, which is a big plus. so... code something as good as your site:) let it be 1k dx stuff, just make it look better...)
