- demo Windows fr-025: the.popular.demo by Farbrausch [web]
- Short but sweet. :) The best part must be the one in the screenshot above, where that gay man doesn't dance like a girl! :)
That's the only way this demo could have gotten better - imagine a hot girl modeled by a girl! ok, lol.
Anyway, realism and textures are overrated. And Imagine credits that are not in Arial! thumbs up t'is... - rulezadded on the 2007-11-21 19:36:38

drive and sense of storytelling
A cube of cubes comes to a city and becomes snakes of cubes that move the houses and everything blows up? That story? :)
I liked this quite a bit despite it not taking me anywhere. I love HL2, so I didn't mind the gfx, was AOK with me. :)
Camera stuff gave it some zing and some nice confus-a-cat Ltd moments when everything was morphing, thumbs up from me :) - rulezadded on the 2007-11-21 18:59:31
- demo Windows Lifeforce by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Loved the ink part a bit in, where the 'clots' break through the crust. :) My second favorite scene was the gold statue, would have been awesome if they had fixed the normal-errors (?) in the tight spots.
Nuclear explosion was great too, but too short! Someone should make a demo entirely based on explosions - really delve into it.
Got an idea from that. Has there been a demo with a really awesome/realistic spaceship launch?
Style was very arty, bit of a mish-mash, but that suited the music, lots of mixed styles there. Loved the start though, sounded Infected <3 - rulezadded on the 2007-08-06 13:34:19
- demo Flash ADHDTV by Evoflash [web] & Bombsquad [web]
- Haven't seen their previous demos, but I didn't know Flash could do this, so I was impressed :)
Are engines allowed in compos? Shockwave+Unity or Irrlicht @ 90 fps would show what you can really have in a browser... ;)
Pure Shockwave here i-arts.com/darkzone/dz_awakv1.htm
