- demo Windows Run Away - Responsible Remix by Epidemic [web]
- at first i thought you'd ripped off another demo i've seen (then i realized this was a remix of that demo).. quite a bit different.. nice, glowing, very smooth graphics code.. good style and presentation.. music is alright.. it's a bit big for what it does (music?), but who's counting hard drive bytes anyways? ;)

- demo Windows Superjam Superheroes by Condense [web] & Mandarine [web]
- this is an excellent beginning to an alternative/humour demo.. great music, nice gfx.. weak effects don't hurt this type of material.. but a story would've made this so much better (ie i wouldn't have needed to delete it as i might have actually watched it again)

- demo Windows "" by alien prophets [web]
- wah! i miss alien prophets.. this piece of brilliance and then the excellent return.. and then... bugs? (cute, but i need a full demo, damnit!)

- demo Windows unknown planet by Mosquito Entertainment
- most of it runs smoothly.. odd old-school references throughout.. music was unique (i don't think an mp3 was necessary though - a mod could've accomplished the same thing).. the few effects would've been alright if placed in the context of a design that wasn't quite so "cheap" looking.. better than i could do in 24 hrs. though ;)

- demo Windows We are by Haujobb
- oh, and the only recently released demo that gets a good framerate on my "obsolete" amd1.6ghz/256mb/geforce2 ;)

- demo Windows We are by Haujobb
- not quite as memorable as liquid-wen, but saved by a few newish ideas.. and i like the soundtrack a lot with the granulated breakbeat.. the text was intriguing enough and was presented well.. i would've liked more of the antialiased pseudo-wireframed organic 3d blobby things (??) as it added some fresh interest to an old hjb standyby..

- demo Windows a deepness in the sky by mfx [web]
- very atmospheric abstract effects.. music is done well for its style even if it's not my thang.. good syncing.. lack of anything resembling a framerate actually enhances the effect a bit..

- demo Windows spleen by Marshals
- very nice.. moire patterns galore are a good idea to play with.. rather painfully slow in many parts though.. music is pretty.. barely gets a rulez..

- demo Windows Arrival by Alpha Millenium Crew
- i probably only like this because i remeber the intros imitated on the virtual amiga screens.. however, the other, less old-skewl, code looked nice, but since i have a 1.6ghz amd, it may not run as sweetly on lowgrade machines (and everything should run perfectly on 7.14 mhz damnit!)

- demo Windows fr-020: in control by Farbrausch [web]
- oops.. saw this without the sound on first.. nothing wrong with reviing the spirit of electronic body music.. however, there are all sorts of neat ways to fuck up a sub-par vocalist :) (try www.audiomulch.com, loop the vocalist, and then download a bunch of VST plugins)...
