- demo Windows Media Error by Fairlight [web] & Carillon & Cyberiad [web] & orange
- First of all, technically this demo rulez
Here we have a mixture of connected scenes with a mixture of unconnected ones, and this is what makes people think that the entire demo is a nonsense (imho).
If the goal is to make people think that they are changing TV channels, I think that the demo must contribute to that feeling, maybe with a TV screen overlay, or more evident TV distortions between the scenes
I can't still get the connection between the first part of the demo and the rest
The music is not my taste, the beginning seems more polished, but as the demo advances it seems more and more simpler, which probably contributes to remove intensity to the prod.
But in any way can I thumb down the results of so much effort :) - rulezadded on the 2007-08-07 20:56:51

- demo Windows Break dance not hearts by TimeScratchers [web]
- As ryg says, there is not material for a demo so long. I even doubt if the fractals were calculated or they were a texture. My suggestions:
1. If you calculate the fractals, make it evident :)
2. Make music for the demo, not demo for the music
3. Keep in mind what you want to transmit with the image. Once transmitted, change the scene!
Glad to see that you contributed to Assembly with a demo also :D - isokadded on the 2007-08-06 19:34:32
- demo Windows Sokuseki by xplsv [web]
- I just saw the ranks and I must strongly disagree with the results. 15th place! It's true that this demo didn't took as much time as other competitors, but it is very well polished, everything fits correctly and is pretty concruent, not as some other "works".... :(

- demo Windows Lifeforce by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- I think that there are not so many effects in this demo as it seems. I think instead that there are few effects but very flexible, reused again and again.
As usual, I can guess what navis does to compose the scenes, but it is a matter of time :)
Thumbs up for a master piece!
