  In the end the basic difference is:
  Nexus -> massive chipset usage
  LALE -> almost complete 060 cpu

  think you just didn't consider that the 060 here has a bit more to do than just render the effects...
  the multichannel module for example;)
  For Nexus 7: Paula 4 channel output, 2x2 chunky display...so what, there's a huge technicaly gap between these two

  And it is just like a ...ahm... feverdream somehow...and thus it works.
  But I wish you come back to the "in your face" style once in a while ;)
