- demo MS-Dos/gus Hell! by Tran
- Kudos for the soundtrack. The rest is so goddamn cheesy it made me shake my head in wonder. (Especially the original file_id.diz, which made me thing thrice before even downloading it -I may not be religious, but the cheese was really thick)
Still, reasonably executed with decent design.

- Jugi to Astro, pointing at the footage of the seal: "That's the coder swimming over there" :)
Fucking brilliant, got lost in a sea of bad organizing though. Using anims was still a taboo back then. - rulezadded on the 2002-04-29 01:10:06
- demo MS-Dos Forever Dreaming by Acme & quad [web]
- despite his constant reuse of always-the-same-samples
Since the whole thing is riding on guitar chords from this, I'm not holding my breath over that one. - isokadded on the 2002-04-22 03:21:59
- demo MS-Dos Panic by Future Crew
- Whate the?! I din't vote for this?
For 1992 it was a screamer, really good stuff, despite some really bad pixel art. There was some consternation about pre-calc scenes, but like anybody cared :) I recall FC being really huffy about getting to 2nd place, for reasons they thought unfair.

- demo Windows Edge Of Forever by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- one of the best *Greek* demos you've ever seen, you mean :)
It's not bad, it has a lot of really neat stuff. Nice tricks, cheats and blurs. I'm just not too keen on the colors and textures, and the music kinda lost me after a minute.
It beats staring at the ceiling though, nice work. ;) - rulezadded on the 2002-04-21 04:05:06
- demo Windows Connect the dots by Syn[Rj] [web]
- Er, MF: it uses a sample that is uncannily similar, if not taken from 'We Have Explosive', like this one, but the music isn't anything like it.
I do wish Stv would've used another sample though, it's like watching LOTR and try not to guffaw at Hugo Weaving playing Elrond, while all he reminds you of is Agent Smith :)
As far as the rest of the demo goes: average-looking, not too remarkable. - isokadded on the 2002-04-20 17:32:56
- 64k Windows eastside works by Aardbei [web]
- Well, it certainly looks different from the usual Aarbei material, nice effect handling too

- 4k Windows Industrial Light and Magic
- It violates my 'NO CHROME SHPERES ON CHECKERBOARDS BEYOND THIS POINT' sign on the door, but what the hell...it's cool!
