- say, if someone makes c64 play mp3s, well, that's impressive. but if it was easy and everyone was doing it (not for a unique sound but that they can finally play their favourite music), it would be braindamaged.

- ok. stop. this may be radiosity.
you know, radiosity is radiosity and raytracing is raytracing. and the former is traditionally applied on gouraud polygons.
hmm. so there appears to be soft shadows but i haven't spotted any sure evidence of complex diffuse interaction or colour bleeding. reason for other may lie in resolution and for another that the lighting is probably calculated monochromatically.
either those, or that the algorithm is carried only one level deep or it's faked with some other shadow-algos. (but what would be the point, those are not that simple either)
