  So how about you stop the mental gymnastics/autofellatio for a second? I've been there, at demo parties in the mid-90s. Guess what, I can't remember _one_ instance of people carefully elaborating artisanal philosophical meta jokes that might offend simple minds at first but are in actuality subtle food for thought. Instead there was a bunch of white dudes in their teens and 20s happily leeching directories full of porn from each other and not really thinking about it much.
  
  But herein lies the point - there's not really any "sides" here. That title is a really shitty joke that probably nobody thought about too much, and there is absolutely no shame in, say, admitting so. It's been almost 25 years, we all had a fuckload of time to grow as persons, and it's not the slightest problem to say "I was an ignorant fool (or colossal idiot) back then".
  
  Hell, I said and did a few really shitty things back in the day, and a few of them are documented on this very website. Feel free to find them and call me out on them. I might say things like "Yeah, I was kinda dumb back then" or "I didn't know better"
  
  What I absolutely WON'T do though is double down on those old shitty things tho. I mean, what the fuck are you people even arguing for? You're defending an almost 25 years old shitty joke that _someone else_ made. How sad is that please? "It's a meta joke". "It's art". "It's satire". "Something something feminism politics something". Are you fucking kidding me?

• It was always only about the title of this prod. The whole "feminism" angle was brought in by YOU to detract from that. There were no people "reacting to feminism" here. It was all you. YOU started ranting about "PC" and started parroting all that bullshit from the alt right bubble.

  Turns out, rape is not fun. The whole title screams "LOL the concept that other people have feelings escapes me and I'm so edgy so let's joke about that thing that never happened to myself and that I don't understand. Boobs!".
  
  It might have been "fine" (for us. Just for us. It was never fine in reality) in 1996 when we all were fucking nerds without any social life whatsoever and no internet to bring different voices than our own to our ears, but nowadays there is no fucking excuse.

  (One nitpick: Please dial back the compression on the soundtrack a bit, the kick drum distorts the rest a little and detracts from the otherwise nicely clean sound)

• I'm with you ferris :) Though if fizzer's numbers are the truth there are enough plots per frame to fill the whole screen 72 times - and as they'll be very unevenly distributed this might just work out (watch the glows around the bokehs when a single dot goes astray - those are actually pretty noisy).
  
  So yeah, it might just be a simple flame fractal that you render on repeat a fuckload of times while wiggling the view matrix and the time axis around until you have enough dots. Now is this a testament to skillful coding or just to the fact that GPUs have become scarily fast? No idea, but in contrast to a lot the general raymarchery going around everywhere this time all that computing power is really put towards the final image, and that's worth a demoscene spirit thumb up alone.
  
  Interestingly I value the music in the same regard - while not Noby's most interesting track it shows that there's still a lot to get out of 4Klang, sound wise.
