nobody likes nazis, but I assume the mindset was different when the prod was released. That's in no way a justification from a modern point of view ("some did it, so it's ok!"), but that's the second product I came across from that time that contain nazi symbols. (compare for example this Men at Work product).
Also I don't know the guy and I feel that it's not right to assume his intentions with that much time passed since the release and without actually ever having talked to him.
I think I'd rather downvote his prod for the nazi crap in it, and move along - like okkie said.

Okay. Strider maybe have (so it seems) or have had (so it seems) opinions that would lead me to think, he was an idiot - or at least his opinions seem idiotic if correctly quoted here.
However, cancellation and shouting "NAZI SWINE" to someone who may or may not have been a nazi 30 years ago (and is probably not reading this anyway) because of a bloody 2-frame Hitler-animation (wow, we have a scanner! in 1989! let's scan some bizarre porn which will probably be illegal in 30 years and some nazi photographs! because we're 1x years old and we can), is probably not the way. Jeez, have any of you ever been to a copyparty in the 80s? 12-15 year olds CRAVING for attention in ANY way possible. Just like all other teenagers. For example I remember seeing a Finnish dude with panties on top of his black jeans, with swaztikas painted on top of the panties. Was he a nazi? I'm pretty sure he wasn't.
So a shitload of productions were designed to provoke spreading (like a virus), they had nothing to do with any real politics or ideologies. Many of them were satires as well, like, "how fucked up can we make this" (this one falls into that camp, which should be completely obvious to anybody who actually saw it, as it doesn't have any kind of propaganda in itself in it).

I have to point out that I didn't write that theme for that particular demo but for when I, Black Shadow and some others from Fairlight went to London for a computer fair. With that said, I am not that much bothered about this demo. As I see it, this demo was just made to rebel against parents and society, to get attention. One have to level with the fact that Exolon, who made this demo, was only around 16 years old when he did it. With that in mind one must also keep in mind that back then, jokes about the holocaust and the Nazi wasnt that big of a deal. I dont defend the demo but I cant relate to the outrage about it.

The son of Strider was banned from US Army because he was convicted to be a member of White supremacist/Nazi group. I guess, emotional legacy must be preserved.
