- demo Windows Hugi #38 Headlines by Nah-Kolor [web]
- Way too long, but nice tune and it achieved what it was aiming for: It piqued my interest in Hugi #38, at least if it will be out anytime soon. ;)

- demo JavaScript Oldschool Never Die by Hemoroids [web]
- What does this demo want to achieve? Invoke nostalgia, and that's it? I mean, what's the point of doing oldskool effects on modern hardware when it's so trivial to achieve? All those effects don't look good by themselves, they only looked good in context way back when because it was amazing to be able to do them on limited hardware.
Either do oldskool effects on oldskool hardware, or use your obvious skills on modern hardware for something more creative. :) - sucksadded on the 2014-05-08 15:10:02
- demo Windows VIP 2014 Invitation by X-men
- I still don't know what to make of this demo. Doesn't work as an invitation, is awkward to watch, ...and yet I had to laugh. Overall a piggie.
I have absolutely no idea why this ranked higher than Scarecrow. Although I guess funnily depicting real people and including Commodore references always helps... :-/ - isokadded on the 2014-05-08 15:03:38

- I laughed. My non-scener wife laughed, too.

- wild Animation/Video Light & Magic by Gaspode
- All around great, I truly enjoyed it on the bigscreen. Great music, great visuals, fantastic idea, cool ending - even my non-scener wife liked it!

- demo SNES/Super Famicom nu by Elix
- I have no idea about the capabilities of the platform, but this sounds and looks very nice so thumb up!

- demo Windows Essence of Life
- Very nice, especially for a first demo! Very good concept and nice music. The visuals need some improvement, and why are the movements of that earth elemental so choppy? But overall still very enjoyable.
By the way, I was the 6th person downloading this. Only the 6th! It came in 8th place out of 17, runs fine on old hardware, has no YouTube video, and only 5 other people downloaded this in one week? Really? That's sad. :(
Anyway, I hope you won't be discouraged by that and make more demos - I'm looking forward to those! - rulezadded on the 2014-04-27 14:38:42
- 64k Windows Ooze by Inque [web]
- Stunning visuals, nice music, and some very nice ideas and details! However, it could have been much better IMHO with some variation in the color scheme during the demo and also without the "pumping" rocks.
But apart from that, great demo! - rulezadded on the 2014-04-26 10:33:19
- demo invitation Windows Blitzgewitter by Titan [web]
- Weak thumb up. At first viewing on the bigscreen I only remembered the hand and how incoherent and random it all was. On second viewing at home, I liked it better but it still feels randomly cobbled together, although some of the effects look really nice. Hm...

- 64k Amiga OCS/ECS solve et coagula by Moods Plateau [web]
- I like it for what it is: a <64k intro for OCS. No new effects, but nice tune, nice flow and nice design.
