- demo Windows lobstertainment 2
- weird one. the music (?) is too strange for its own good. as thorsten said, it lacks impact somehow, they just show some models and art and noise and models again. I understand that making it noisy and random-looking was kinda the whole point, but it never really catches the viewer's attention (didn't catch mine anyway)..

- demo Windows BillGate by kiki-prods [web]
- I wonder what makes people waste so much of their precious time (9 months as I understood?) for a joke-demo, especailly with a topic like that?.. I mean, 9 months is enough for anyone to perfect himself beyond recognition, and even grow some basic sense of humor and artistical taste (which this one lacks heavily).
I won't say this demo sucks or anything - it'll probably stay on my hdd forever to watch when boozing - but 9 goddamn months?!.. 8/ - isokadded on the 2002-03-11 19:09:03

- demo Windows nodelab by Retro A.C. [web]
- btw, seems no-one noticed the music is ripped.. it's from dutch idm duo Funckarma (courtesy of Djak-Up-Bitch Recordings), Part 4 ep, first track.
but I don't really mind, because the music kinda fits and the synch is done great. the room-scene is nice but kinda falls out of the general flow. some fx are really dark here too, probably due to that 'nice' monitor described in the nfo. 8) - isokadded on the 2002-03-07 21:01:09
- demo Windows Passenger 1337 by Marshals
- whatever it was, it excited me for the moment I was watching it, and that's all that matters. 8) I won't say that there's no design, you have pretty cool transitions (while most of nowadays demos just tend to show scene after scene after picture after scene), and some funny oldskool-mockery effects.
what makes me wonder is why the 3d looks skippy at times.. it sure doesn't seem all too complex and my gf3 should chew it up quite happily I suppose. - rulezadded on the 2002-03-06 22:13:07

- proof positive that "oldskool" shouldn't necessarily mean "ugly, boring and lacking of fresh ideas"!
