- demo Windows Spot by Exceed [web]
- Argh, damned, the demo could have been SO cool...
If it weren't so fucking SLOW. No, i don't speak of the engine, it's fast enough for what it does, but the storyline/camera/music lets you fall asleep after just about two minutes or so. Don't demo makers ever watch movies? I mean, this could be compared to a scene where the mainn actor, let's say a secret agent, smokes a cigarette between two of his missions... and does nothing else. Ok, the cigarettes in this demo are quite short, but as long as you don't speed up the whole thing to about 2x speed or something, i'll give it the "another boring 3d demo, yet a technically impressive one" predicate. - isokadded on the 2001-03-06 20:26:55
- demo MS-Dos Saint by Halcyon & Da Jormas [web]
- Yes! Cool Jormas techno music (like in their best days on A500 :), perfect Halcyon code (innovative effects, fakes AND high frame rates.. what do you want more) and overall a lot of fun when you stand in front of the bigscreen and imitate the cow and the old, uh, "lady" with the handbag whie watching this... a must-see!

- Together with "Stoerfall Ost" one of the few REAL "how the fuck..." 4K intros. Get this NOW :)

- ARE YOU RASMUS?
Nah, this intro may not be what i'd call "very good", but still, it has a nice flow and good design, and cubes are my favourite geometric shapes anyway. Good work :)

- demo MS-Dos Windows moaï by Nomad [web]
- Hmm... on the big screen, this looked much better than on a monitor. In my eyes, it didn't really deserve the first place (in front of "State of Mind"), as the disco idea was good for a laugh or two, but otherwise, it's yet another boring 3d demo, of the most obvious kind. Sorry.

- demo Windows metamorf by Satori [web]
- One of my absolute favourite demos of the last time. Zden's style is refreshingly distinctive, and his "conventions are none" attitude helps him producing demos which will be remembered when all those object shows and "design" demos are long forgotten. Learn from him. Just don't copy him, as you didn't learn from him then.

- demo Windows Kasparov by Elitegroup [web]
- And all of you out there who appreciate design only when it's written in big, flashin finnish, additive blended letters:
Turn your light off, turn your stereo up, sit still and WATCH. It may be not the best demo ever created, and well, if you have a very narrow view of design and music, it may suck, but it's main purpose is to create an athmosphere, and it definitely succeeds in doing so. Everything fits, and the design is consistent as hell.
Just remind that "fuck demos, let's art" may also mean things like this, ok? :)

- 64k MS-Dos Windows heaven seven by Exceed [web]
- What to say... everything in here has been said before.. To put it short: The most awesome combination of good code, stunning visuals and moody music i've ever seen.
If you're a real real scener you put this one into the "shell=" line of WIN.INI :)

- demo Windows elran by i2pi [web]
- "wtf..." was maybe the first thought I had when looking at this demo, but if you're patient enough and don't press escape after one or two minutes, it really starts to catch your whole attention. It's not important what exactly is going on on the screen, just let yourself go and enjoy the mood and athmosphere this demo creates. And for this, it just has the right lenght.
