• can only evaluate this as a casual enjoyer, and in that sense this felt just ok to me. i don't really know what's going on here technically, but it looks like a very average and typical ECS demo to me. i'm mainly still missing more work on the design side, like better use of color and overlay graphics, and more care in little details like the seams in the kaleidoscope effect. the use of digital photographs also still doesn't look good at all imo, no matter how many HAM colors there are. certainly an improvement on the earlier HAM Eager and a good effort in general, but still not there yet.

• highly enjoyable and pleasantly polished to a reasonable degree, although the overlay graphics aren't entirely to my personal taste, and the music also feels jarringly modern for a context like this. the tunnel effects are beautiful in particular and definitely steal the show, but i'm a bit surprised about the lower resolution and precision of the raymarched(?) blobs and potential fields.
