about "breaking" the 4/4 (even doing some tempo rubato), I've done it earlier, like here: https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=65018
I had some major problems publishing this intro in time. I had to replace this song/instrument-set with an ad-hoc-version - losing the most of the nice touch ecspecially with the snare and the bassdrum. I'm quite happy I still managed to release the intro in time! ;)
